Tore Bolstad is an A class fiddler who studied with a number of respected local fiddlers. He says that traditional music takes up most of his time! He is also an A class Valdresspringar dancer.Tore grew up in Øystre Slidre in Valdres, Norway, but now lives just south of Oslo. He has played the hardingfele since the age of 9 and traditional music takes up most of his time. He learned from fiddlers in Valdres among them his great uncle and his grandfather. Tore is also a dancer of the Valdres tradition. Tore was the winner of the Landskappleik in the year of 2001.
